Trauma Coaching and Counseling Hub
The Trauma Coaching and Counseling Hub is an innovative and transformative project addressing the core psychological, emotional, and social effects of domestic violence in Nigeria.
Focused on providing culturally sensitive trauma recovery services, the hub is positioned to serve domestically abused victims while fostering a nationwide movement of healing and treatment, empowerment, and advocacy against domestic violence against men, women, young and old, as well as children because everyone is a potential agent of been abused by anybody.


Trauma and Mental Health Conference
The conference aims to create awareness, foster collaboration, and offer innovative solutions to address trauma and mental health challenges associated with domestic violence. The event will bring together survivors, mental health professionals, policymakers, and community leaders to discuss practical strategies and culturally sensitive interventions.
This initiative aligns with the NGO’s mission to support survivors of domestic violence through awareness, advocacy, and accessible mental health services.
Training on Mental Health First Aid, Culture, and Faith
A specialized training program designed to address the intersection of mental health, culture, and faith in supporting survivors of domestic violence in Nigeria. Organized by Abigail’s Foundation for Victims of Domestic Violence which is a domestic violence-focused NGO, the training will equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to provide Mental Health First Aid to survivors, while considering the cultural and religious factors that influence victim experiences and healing processes.
The training aims to empower community leaders, healthcare providers, religious leaders, social workers, and other key stakeholders to create a safe, informed, and supportive environment for domestic violence survivors.
